Bio

Jaimie Leigh Lyon is an LMFT, a registered Art Therapist and is currently working at Seattle Children's Hospital. She firmly believes that non-verbal forms of expression are profound, necessary outlets for everyone not just those who consider themselves "artists."

In her pursuit of art therapy, she hopes to help others on their paths to self-discovery through artistic expression and strong relationships. She aims to investigate the symbols and metaphors in our daily lives and how they can point to meaning and bring to our awareness pieces of ourselves that we feel disconnected to.

This website is a compilation of artworks she has produced over the past 15 years and her evolution as an artist. In the last year her definition of art has changed, her process has been altered, and she has felt a deeper, more raw connection with art making and the power of it's potentials for others seeking healing.

She seeks inspiration through raw emotion, relationships, connection, and nature.
